Foreign experts noted the portable neonatal incubator manufactured by the Schwabe holding of Rostec State Corporation among the best innovative solutions. The International Society for Innovation and Excellence (TISIAS), headquartered in Toronto, granted a diploma and a silver medal for original design to device developers. The incubator is launched into serial production.

The BONNY mobile incubator is manufactured at the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant named after E.S. Yalamov of Shvabe holding. This is a fundamentally new product that has no analogues in Russia and abroad. The device is designed for a quick and safe transportation of newborns to medical facilities. Transportation can be carried out both by land and by air, which is especially important in hard-to-reach areas. Among the advantages of the new incubator are also compact dimensions and a small weight, and an ergonomic design ensures comfortable placement of the baby.

“The device maintains a comfortable temperature regime for the newborn, protects against external factors, such as noise and vibration, it is capable of working for four hours without recharging. Due to a unique set of functions, the Rostec portable incubator is superior to the well-known similar developments presented on the foreign market, while its price is noticeably lower than of its analogues. It is planned to start delivering the new product to regional medical institutions next year, and in the future perspective initiate its export”, said Oleg Evtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec.
