Russian equipment to be presented in Malaysia


LIMA-2013 will be held on March, 26-30 2013 on Malaysian Langkawi island, Russian Federal Military-Technical Cooperation Service (FMTCS) reports.

Russia will be represented by 22 companies, including Rosoboronexport, UAC, KBM and Oboronprom. The country is an active participant of the exhibition since 1991.

This year the event will see modern multi-functional 5th generation T-50 and multi-purpose Su-35 fighters; combat Mi-28NE, attack Ka-52 and heavy transport Mi-26T rotorcrafts; Buk-M2E and Pantsir-S1 missile systems, Gepard-3.9 frigate, Mirazh (14310 project) and Sobol (12200 project) patrol boats and others. The Marshal Shaposhnikov destroyer has already made the Lankgawi port in order to hoist Russian flag at the exhibition.

Russian Knights aerobatic demonstration team is also to take part in the show.
