The first upgraded Tu-160M strategic bomber prototype designed by Tupolev, United Aircraft Corporation, has proceeded to the official integration test program performed by the crews of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and the designer.
The Tu-160M is equipped with modern weapons, electromagnetic warfare systems and avionics developed using advanced instrumentation engineering technologies.
The first Tu-160M prototype was created within a large-scale modernization program of combatant long-range aircraft systems currently fulfilled by Tupolev.
