Shvabe Demonstrates an Armored Cargo Pickup Truck

Shvabe-SpecAuto demonstrates an armored dropside canopy truck at the Army-2023 International Military and Technical Forum in Kubinka, Moscow Region. 

The vehicle cabin is faced with Class 3 armor, small armored glass panels are provided instead of the windscreen and are used as inspection windows. The wheels may be also reinforced with bulletproof inserts on the customer’s request. Damaged structural components may be replaced with new ones, if required. 

The armored interior compartment accommodates two persons – the driver and a passenger. The vehicle has a 106 h.p. engine and features high maneuverability. The truck is suitable for off-road and urban conditions. 

“For the forum in Kubinka, we have brought a special-purpose vehicle family, including an armored pickup truck designed to carry any goods up to 500kg. This vehicle is suitable to cover the needs of civilians and enforcement agencies,” pointed out Leo Borisov, Deputy General Director of Shvabe. 

The vehicle has been designed by Shvabe-SpecAuto in Nizhny Novgorod. The factory expands the production of special-purpose vehicles annually and supplies its products to the Russian and CIS markets. The process is supported by Shvabe-Moscow company.
