Rosoboronexport participates in the EDEX-2023 International Defence Exhibition taking place on 4-7 December in Cairo (Egypt).
The EDEX is the final event of the global exhibition campaign for 2023, within which Rosoboronexport participated in 16 international shows in Russia and abroad.
“EDEX is the largest defence exhibition in Africa. Rosoboronexport maintains extensive defence technology cooperation with 80% of the countries in the region. Share of exports to African countries in 2023 has exceeded 30% of Rosoboronexport’s total scope of delivery, and the company’s contracting in the region will be more than 5.2 billion USD at the year end,” said Aleksandr Mikheev, General Director of Rosoboronexport. “Our objective at the EDEX 2023 is to improve our cooperation by interaction points outlined at the Second Russia-Africa Summit in Saint Petersburg. Moreover, Rosoboronexport will continue finalization of the commitments achieved with the Middle East countries at the Dubai Airshow 2023.”
The products showcased by Rosoboronexport at the EDEX 2023 include advanced Russian aviation equipment and armored vehicles, missile and artillery systems, naval products, multirole and combat UAV, air defence and EW systems, small arms and munitions.
