KAMAZ Delivered Dumb Trucks to Turkmenistan

A large batch of KAMAZ-6520 vehicles was delivered to the Ministry of Motor Transport of Turkmenistan.

The first batch of dump trucks in the amount of 42 units was sent to the customer to meet the Resolution on Purchasing of KAMAZ Trucks signed by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov in September 2017 during Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to the country. According to the document, the Ministry of Motor Transport of Turkmenistan is to purchase a total of 250 units of KAMAZ-6520 vehicles with carrying capacity of 20 t from the leading Russian truck maker. The rest 208 dump trucks of the same model (6x4, 20 cbm of body space) are to be delivered to the republic within a year. The vehicles will join the fleet of the enterprises under the Ministry of Roads and will be distributed among Turkmenistan regions.

Turkmenistan is one of the largest and reliable markets for KAMAZ products. Since 2006, the country has received more than 9 thous. KAMAZ-branded trucks and special vehicles for operation in various sectors and industries.

In view of high demand for KAMAZ trucks in the region, a KAMAZ training and service center covering more than 5 thous. square meters was opened in Ashgabat in July 2008. Apart from the delivery of vehicles and their maintenance, including diagnostics and overhaul, the center is focused on trainings for Turkmen experts: there they learn about the design, operation, maintenance, diagnostics and current repair of KAMAZ vehicles. Besides, KAMAZ has its dealership centers in Turkmenistan's cities of Balkanabat, Mary, Dashauze and Turkmenabat.
