The Russian truck manufacturer KAMAZ affiliated to the Rostec State Corporation has published data on the production turnout in December and throughout 2017. According to the report, the company produced 12% more vehicles last year than in 2016.
Divisions of the KAMAZ integrated technological cycle produced 4,238 vehicle sets in December, and 39,525 sets in total for the year, which is a 12% YoY gain. The engine plant and the Cummins Kama JV turned out and shipped more than 4,5 thousand engines and power units to their customers in December. The results for the year for this type of products amount to almost 42 thousand units, which is a 10.5% gain compared to 2016.
Dealers, service centers, corporate and other KAMAZ consumers received 2 billion rubles worth of spare parts in the last month of the year. In total, from the beginning of 2017 the moneywise output was about 23 billion rubles making a 39% YoY gain. In December, 1.84 billion rubles worth of goods were turned out conformably to the production diversification program; the annual indicators pertaining to this direction activity exceed 8 billion rubles, which was 20% more than during the same period in 2016.
