Kalashnikov has Set Up Manufacturing of Mobile UAV Control Stations

Kalashnikov Concern has set up manufacturing of mobile control stations. The mobile control station (MCS) as part of UAV systems is designed for precision-guided munition spotting. The control station is mounted on KAMAZ-4350 off-road truck and is designed for carriage, storage and maintenance of vehicle-portable UAV systems. Manufacturing was set up in the shortest possible time. The whole MCS batch was delivered to the customer on time.

A special-purpose vehicle division was established at the Concern’s site in Izhevsk by the decision of the Board of Kalashnikov Concern in 2023. Manufacturing of guided loitering munition systems is one of the priority objectives of the division. The systems are designed for high-precision engagement of remote single and group ground targets. Public contracts fulfilled by the division include production of ground-based guided munition starting systems, checkout equipment, special-purpose equipment maintenance systems, engineering supervision of batch production of 9M333 guided missiles, and services for putting new guided anti-air missiles into production.
