Obninsk scientific and production ORPE Technologiya is to deliver composite structure components for Boeing and Airbus’ medium-range aircrafts.
According to Oleg Komissar, Director General of Technologiya, the enterprise is the primary centre for Russian MS-21 empennage production.
“As we have certified our production according to the international standards, we are now able to join global aircraft industry community and contend in the world aviation market”, Kommissar said.
ORPE Technologiya has created over 800 new materials during its 50-year history. The enterprise employs 2 000 people and its revenues in 2012 amounted to 3 billion roubles.
