Rostec’s United Aircraft Corporation has manufactured and delivered a new batch of the Su-34 strike fighters to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation within the state defence procurement program.

“This aircraft combines high maneuverability, wide range of weapons and capability to act effectively in any conditions. It has confirmed its best-in-class status in the special military operation zone and is still one of the key elements of Russian combat aviation. We understand high demand for this aircraft in the field. Our aircraft manufacturers keep up the Su-34 production rates and regularly supply new aircraft to the customers for the sake of strengthening the national defence capability. New supplies are planned before the end of the year.

The Su-34 strike fighter is designed to engage ground (surface) and air targets and infrastructure facilities covered by air defence systems and located at considerable distances from the home airfield. The aircraft may be also used to fulfill air reconnaissance missions.

“UAC manufacturers keep up high military equipment production rates and fulfill their obligations to the Russian Air Force. This is not the last supply this year. Our production personnel are continuously improving their manufacturing processes to provide the necessary rates of aircraft manufacturing for the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation,” said Vadim Badekha, General Director of UAC.
