Rostec is to Showcase a Cutting-Edge Small-Size Rocket Flamethrower at MILEX-2023 for the First Time

Rostec State Corporation will showcase its cutting-edge MRO-A small-size thermobaric rocket flamethrower for the first time at the MILEX-2023 Exhibition in Minsk. Moreover, the visitors will see a wide range of small arms and modern Russian armored vehicles – BT-3F armored personnel carriers and Sprut-SDM1 light amphibious tank. More than 150 developments will be showcased at the exhibition. 

“Russian weapons are reasonably recognized as one of the world’s best. At the exhibition in Minsk, we will showcase our latest developments, including battle-tested ones. The cutting-edge MRO-A rocket flamethrower is to be demonstrated at MILEX for the first time. Visitors will see a range of Kalashnikov assault rifles and handguns, a wide portfolio of ammunition and rounds, air defence weapons and integrated artillery fire-control systems. Certainly, armoured vehicles will be also showcased,” said Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of Weapon Systems, Rostec State Corporation.  

The MRO-A is designed to hit personnel in buildings, fortifications as well as in motor vehicles and light armoured vehicles. It has high casualty-producing performance with relatively small caliber and weight. 

In addition, traditionally great attention is expected to be paid to the latest Russian Chukavin sniper rifle which has been created to replace the iconic Dragunov sniper rifle and has started to enter the field. Moreover, the latest PPK-20 submachine gun and Lebedev pistols as well as a range of Kalashnikov assault rifles in various calibers are showcased.
