Shvabe Holding of the Rostec State Corporation showcases Russian ophthalmological, gynecological, neonatal and cardiological equipment in the United Arab Emirates.
Shvabe brought a 100% Russian-made ophthalmologic surgical complex LS-02 Zenit to Arab Health for the first time. The complex is developed and manufactured by the holding’s enterprise “Krasnogorsky Zavod” (KMZ “ZENIT”).
It includes the multifunctional compact YAG-laser system that is easy and safe to use. This system is used in ophthalmology as ophthalmic destructor and for microsurgery purposes. The slit lamp, which is part of the device, operates together with the laser and can also be used as a stand-alone diagnostic lamp.
In addition, the company presents the ALHK-01-Zenit KMZ automated laser surgical complex for the treatment of gynecological diseases, including the removal of neoplasms. The Holding’s exposition also features products of other enterprises. Among them are BiliFlex, a fiber-optical system for phototherapy, and BONNY, the first Russian-made mobile incubator. Both products are made by the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant.
“The holding is a permanent member of Arab Health. We have exhibited our medical equipment at this event since 2013. The Middle East market is one of the most promising for us, so we plan to demonstrate our latest technologies and products, as well as the scientific and production potential of the industry as a whole. We expect to negotiate new contracts, get feedback from foreign colleagues and end users of products, i.e. practicing doctors, and, of course, study the achievements of modern medical industry," said Vadim Kalyugin, First Deputy General Director and Director for Production and Industrial Policy of Shvabe.
The holding’s POLYUS Research Institute of M.F. Stelmakh and Shvabe-Moscow company are also taking part in the event.
