Forum participants can see the UGPA-16 gas compressor units, which have been already supplied to key gas pipelines

United Engine Corporation showcases modern gas transport equipment, including equipment designed for foreign facilities, at Russia-China EXPO. The UGPA-16(25) gas compressor unit is a promising solution for construction of Russia’s new gas transport infrastructure facilities and gas supply to Asia-Pacific countries. 

Suitability for use as part of gas turbine engines with a power from 12 to 32 MW without substantial structural modification is the key feature of the UGPA-16(25). Such platform flexibility has been achieved due to high degree of component unification and the use of generally available solutions. Due to the design, distributed automation and system integration into a unified spatial concept, the UGPA gas compressor units are advanced equipment in terms of ease of on-site delivery, installation and operation. This reduces project design, construction and commissioning time by 2 times. 

“The key idea of such strategic alliance with China’s industry leaders is to create products for supply to fast growing markets of Central Asia and Middle East. The UGPA-16 gas compressor units are offered as one of the promising solutions. They have been already supplied to key gas pipelines, including compressor stations of the Sakhalin — Khabarovsk — Vladivostok gas transport system via which gas will be supplied to China’” said Andrey Vorobiev, General Director of UEC-Engineering. 

The equipment has already proved effective and can be also used for construction of new gas transport infrastructure facilities and Russian gas transportation to other countries.
