The 10th anniversary Russia-China EXPO opens in Harbin, the exhibition theme is “Trust. Cooperation. Mutual Benefit”

Rostec State Corporation demonstrates hi-tech solutions at the Russian joint stand at the 10th anniversary Russia-China EXPO taking place in Harbin. The Ka-32А11M and Mi-171 models made by Russian Helicopters and the UGPA-16(25) gas compressor unit mockup made by United Engine Corporation are included in the exposition. Viktor Kladov, Director of International Cooperation of Rostec, has introduced the visitors to Rostec products. 

Exhibition visitors can get detailed information about the Ka-32А11M and Mi-171 utility helicopters at Rostec’s exposition. 

The Ka-32A11M is the latest modification of the Ka-32. The helicopter features high lifting capacity: it can lift a load up to 5 tons on the external sling and carry a payload up to 3.7 in the cargo hold. The latest version has a unique horizontal, side and vertical fire fighting system. The helibucket can be filled with 5 tons of water during just a few seconds and drop the water onto the seat of fire. 

Moreover, the Ka-32А11M is the world’s first helicopter for fire fighting in winter — it is fitted with water cannon, tank and water filling and discharge system heating.

The Mi-8/171 are the most popular helicopters that are made in Russia. They feature reliability, multifunctionality, ease of operation and maintenance and are widely used in Asia, South America and Africa. The helicopters can be used for fire fighting, emergency mitigation, carriage of goods, rescue operations and as an ambulance. 

In addition, visitors can evaluate amber jewelry and souvenirs from the Kaliningrad Amber Combine, growing demand for which is observed in Asian and Middle East countries. 

The anniversary EXPO will run till 21 May.
