Rostec’s United Aircraft Corporation will represent its latest regional airplanes, Il-114-300 and import-substituted Superjet, for the first time at a foreign venue. The first appearance of Russian airliners will take place at Wings India 2026 to be held on 28-31 January in Hyderabad.

The Superject will be demonstrated at a static stand and will have a special livery comprising elements painted in national colors of India. The jet was built using mass production technology and is outfitted with Russian systems and equipment. The vehicle has domestic PD-8 engines made by United Engine Corporation (UEC included in Rostec State Corporation). The Superject is furnished Russian-made interior in line with the import substitution program. The new mass-produced interior will be first shown to the audience.

The Russian-made Il-114-300 turbopropeller aircraft will be also demonstrated with the installed cabin. The aircraft uses domestic components and is equipped with the TB7-117ST-01 engines made by United Engine Corporation. The airliner will participate in the air show flight program.

“India is one of Russia’s strategic partners: Rostec State Corporation has been successfully developing long-term close technological cooperation with colleagues, in particular, in line with the Make in India initiative. Our military aircraft are traditionally highly appreciated, but civil aircraft sector also has a high potential. UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik — Let the Common Citizens of the Country Fly) program has been established in the country to make air carriage services easier to access and to increase the number of regional airports. This paves the way for commercial success of the SJ-100 and Il-114-300 on the local market,” said Rostec’s representatives.

Wings India 2026 is Asia’s largest event on civil aviation.
