The latest fifth generation Su-57E will be first showcased at the Aero India 2025 International Show. The fighter will participate in demonstration flights.
Today the Su-57 is the world’s only fifth generation fighter that has proven effective in real combat conditions providing countermeasures against foreign air defence systems. The aircraft can use a wide range of guided high-precision weapons and features low visibility for enemy radars.
“The Su-57 is an advanced fifth generation aircraft that is needed both by the Russian Air Force and by our foreign partners. We are expecting a great interest in the fighter at the airshow in Bengaluru. Alongside with the aircraft improvement and promotion to new markets, UAC is focused on the extension of manufacturing capacity to ensure the growing demand for this fighter,” said Rostec’s representatives.
Visitors of United Aircraft Corporation’s stand as part of the Russian consolidated exposition arranged by Rosoboronexport at Aero India will be able to “fly” the Su-57E interactive simulator using virtual reality elements.
The Aero India international aerospace exhibition and airshow has been held since 1996 at Yelahanka Air Force Station. The 15th exhibition is to take place from 10th to 14th February 2025. This event is one of the leading aerospace exhibitions in Southeast Asia.
