Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation) is organizing Russia’s exhibit at the LAAD Defense & Security 2025 Trade Show in Latin America, which will be held from April 1 to 4 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Company has not exhibited here since 2019.
"The main goal of Rosoboronexport's participation in LAAD 2025 is to discuss technology cooperation projects with Latin American countries. To date, “strategic autonomy” through the development of national defense industry has become the main global trend in weapons production, thanks to which the share of technology transfer projects in the global arms market will grow by 95% to reach 40% of the total market value by 2030," said Alexander Mikheev, General Director of Rosoboronexport. “In Latin America, we are planning to expand joint projects on the development and production of small arms, UAVs, PGWs, armored vehicles, aircraft and naval equipment".
n Rio de Janeiro, Rosoboronexport will showcase the latest Russian military products for all services of the armed forces that are of great interest in the region. All exhibited items have been tested under real combat conditions and modified relying on feedback from Russia’s Armed Forces and other security agencies that carry out the tasks of the Special Military Operation.
For the Air Force delegations, Rosoboronexport will present Su-57E and Su-35 fighter jets, IL-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft, Mi-171Sh and Ka-52E helicopters at its exhibition booth.
For the Land Forces, the company will showcase a modernized version of the T-90MS MBT and the BMPT tank support fighting vehicle. The Air Defense Forces will be demonstrated a wide range of assets for countering air threats: S-400 Triumf long-range SAM system, S-350E Vityaz and Tor-M2K medium-range SAM systems, as well as Igla-S MANPADS.
The Company has prepared presentations of the BK-16E high-speed transport/ landing boat, BK-10 assault boat and the Project 22160 patrol ship for Navy and the Sprut light amphibious tank for the Marine Corps.
Regarding the products presented at the exhibition, Rosoboronexport is ready to discuss new industrial cooperation projects in full compliance with current market trends. The Company will discuss issues of expanding partnerships and implementing new projects with Latin American public and private enterprises.
Also, as part of the LAAD 2025 business program, Rosoboronexport is planning to hold substantive meetings and negotiations with representatives of the ministries of defense and other law enforcement agencies of Brazil and the countries of the region.
