RT-Project Technologies has demonstrated the SmartAirkey single urban access system at the CIPR conference. The solution will help persons with reduced mobility easily use building infrastructure – elevators, ramps, entrance doors, etc. It is also capable of providing free, but controlled access to residential estates and organizations for emergency services.
The SmartAirkey is used to automatically open any electromechanical and electromagnetic locks with a digital cryptographic key directly from the mobile application. For example, when a person approaches a door to a building entrance hall, the system will open the door. However, the SmartAirkey will not allow access to any unauthorized persons without a protected digital key.
The system can also call an elevator and send it to the desired floor, activate a baby carriage lift, open the apartment door and close it if a person has left it open. Thus, the solution will provide easy access and movement within buildings and outdoor for persons with restricted mobility.
Using smart cryptokeys, the solution also can provide access to residential estates and organizations for emergency, utility and courier services. The centralized control system is used for controlled distribution of digital keys and, thus, visitor traffic is tracked within housing areas.
