Concern Radio-Electronic Technologies (KRET) has developed an autopilot for small aircraft. The innovative system ensures high handling and stability characteristics in autopilot mode as well as flight safety. The solution was patented and has already passed the flight test on a light multi-role aircraft.
The AP-MVL autopilot solution is easy to operate and fail-safe. The AP-MVL system includes a digital computer panel and servo-actuators connected in parallel to the aircraft control system. The autopilot is digitally interfaced with information systems.
“Soviet enterprises in their day developed autopilots for light aircraft such as the An-2. These days Rostec’s companies armed with past experience develop innovative aircraft systems. KRET’s autopilot system is based on the tasks established in the National Program Aviation Industry Development. Due to the specifications of the novelty product, it can be used both on newly designed and modernized small aircraft. Application of our technologies to small aircraft manufacturing will improve aircraft performance, availability and safety,” said Rostec’s representatives.
