KAMAZ has made two unique heavy-duty trucks at a time: four-wheel KAMAZ-65958 and KAMAZ-65959. There are already potential customers not only in Russia, but also in Turkey, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
Heavy dump trucks are designed for quarry operations. KAMAZ-65959 is a 6×6 vehicle with a total weight of 35 tons that is equipped with the R6 460 hp engine. Pilot batch production is already planned for this month. A more maneuverable KAMAZ-65958 with an 8×8 wheel arrangement and a long frame of 9.4 meters may be also used for other superstructures and special equipment, for example, for operation at oil and gas fields. The vehicle has a gross weight of 44 tons and is equipped with the R6 560 hp engine.
Cabs have a bed and standard roof, the vehicles are furnished with an onboard information system, air conditioner, self-contained heater, cooler and tachograph. The heavy trucks have a user-friendly automated tire inflation system, 500 l fuel tanks and deep tread wheels.
Assembly of four new K5 generation models has been already launched in 2025. Some new vehicles will roll off the conveyor by the end of the year.
