Battery capacity of the upgraded ultrasound machine has been increased by 2.3 times to ensure guaranteed operation during 6 hours. A hand loop put around a wrist and a snap hook attachment point have been added for reliability and ease of use.

The portable ultrasound machine is designed for quick health assessment of the wounded and may be used by a forward medical group and special task medical detachment in the field for sorting of the wounded, in ambulances, at hospital admitting offices and intensive care units.

Operating temperature range is from −30°C to +55°C, the weight of the transducer probe is 330 g and the total weight is about 1.5 kg.

These ultrasound machines are designed for rapid examinations using the FAST, BLUE and RUSH protocols, for vascular access and block anesthesia.

Note that the portable ultrasound machine is included in the first air equipment line developed by Kalashnikov Concern for paramedics and combat medics. When creating the equipment, experience gained during the special military operation was studied carefully.
