Kalashnikov Concern has conducted negotiations with representatives of some Middle East countries at the 25th anniversary International Exhibition for Equipment and Technologies for Oil and Gas Industry (Neftegaz-2026) held in Moscow on 2-5 March. The Legioner, a modern vertical take-off and landing unmanned aerial vehicle, aroused the greatest interest among potential customers from the Middles East region.
The commercial drone is designed for aerial survey, airborne laser scanning, video monitoring, carriage of goods, fire control operations and search and rescue operations. The drone is available both with a motor and engine, in basic configuration or with additional payloads. The Legioner’s maximum range is 550 km, flight time is more than 5 hours, it can be used at temperatures from −25 °C to +30 °C, wind up to 15 m/s, with a payload weight up to 4 kg.
It is worth noting that Kalashnikov is showcasing ready-made solutions using UAV for Russia’s energy sector at Neftegaz-2026. Besides the Legioner, the Alfa-E unmanned helicopter and the SKAT 350M flying wing are being displayed.
