Improved electric bus modification with increased fuel distance and improved climate system

New modification of КАМАZ-6282 electric bus is outfitted with a new type of battery — nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC). The batteries have higher power density thus allowing power capacity of 201 kW∙h to be placed on board without compromising the weight dimension characteristics.

Thanks to new batteries, fuel distance has been increased up to 100 km, climate control unit has been improved to fully electric without using additional heaters. This type of battery chemicals is more eco-friendly, recoverable and allows chemical elements to be reused. It takes just 10 to 20 minutes to recharge the КАМАZ-6282 that is 20 times less than the mean recharging time.

The charging station is also unique in its space-saving dimensions. AC or DC system (e.g. trolleybus) connectivity and automatic recharging function without driver involvement are among other advantages.

Besides, the new electric bus has a roomy 100% low-floor passenger compartment, folding ramp (for passengers with restricted mobility), address door opening function and electronic information system. USB connectors (for charging mobile and portable devices) and Wi-Fi are provided for creating comfortable conditions in the passenger compartment.
