United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will demonstrate a family of fully domestically built next generation civil aircraft. The aircraft can form a basis for the development of air transport system in India.

In particular, the joint stand of United Aircraft Corporation and United Engine Corporation showcases the Il-114-300 regional turboprop airliner, SJ-100 regional airliner and МС-21 medium-range airliner models.

The family of aircraft demonstrated at the exhibition can fully cover the demands of local airlines. The Il-114-300 will facilitate the development of regional transportation from small airfields under the UDAN program (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik — Let the Common Citizens of the Country Fly). The SJ-100 can be used for air travel from big cities to central cities of regions and small towns, while the МС-21 can be operated on heavily loaded routes.

“We continue working in a manner set out at Wings of India in January. For the past six months, we made good progress in negotiations and achieved a set of agreements on the Il-114-300, which will be signed at INNOPROM. India. Capabilities of UAC and other Rostec’s companies offer Indian partners integrated industrial cooperation, rather than individual products — from delivery of aircraft to production localization and technological partnership. Our SJ-100 production localization project together with HAL company is an illustrative example of such cooperation. At present, we have negotiated more than 80% of the license agreement and are planning to sign it in the nearest future. At upcoming AeroIndia 2027, we are expecting to sign an agreement with the first Indian operator,” said Vadim Badekha, General Director of UAC.
