In order to create conditions for sustainable development of human resources, Rostec implements comprehensive training projects for its specialists. The number of employees who master various educational programs is growing every year. Employees receive both compulsory education and additional professional development programs, including in new formats, as well as participate in conferences, meetings with experts.

In the field of personnel training, active work is carried out, involving interaction with the leading Russian higher and secondary educational institutions, including in such areas as:

  • development of the system of continuous education of workers;

  • creation and improvement of the system of targeted contract training of specialists and additional professional training of personnel for the Corporation and its organizations, taking into account the prospects for the development of equipment and technology;

  • development of basic departments in the organizations of the defense and industrial complex and scientific laboratories in educational institutions of professional education.

To date, the Corporation and its organizations have concluded cooperation agreements with more than 200 universities as well as with 50 vocational schools on the basis of which targeted training of specialists is carried out. Agreements on cooperation are also concluded with Lomonosov Moscow State University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, MGIMO of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Far Eastern Federal University and other leading universities of the country.

Within the framework of activities aimed at developing and popularizing engineering and technical professions and works, the Corporation together with the Union of Machine Builders of Russia regularly conducts an international forum "Engineers of the Future" the main participants of which are young professionals and employees of the Corporation's organizations as well as students of the Russian universities.

In addition, the Corporation also provides support to socially important projects, such as Sirius Educational Center, Yaroslavl Forum Future Intellectual Leaders of Russia, the competition among students of branch universities IT-Proryv as well as participates in international youth initiatives such as the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi and the Russian-Chinese Youth Forum of the Regions of Volga Federal District.

Some of the competencies of the Corporation's employees and organizations are developed with the help of Rostec's Corporate Network Academy and WorldSkills movement.
