Another batch of Su-34 frontline bombers has been delivered to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation within the state defence procurement program. The aircraft have been fabricated by Novosibirsk Aircraft Factory named after Chkalov as part of United Aircraft Corporation. The aircraft have passed all ground and flight tests.

“Su-34 frontline bombers feature high maneuverability and impressive combat capabilities allowing them to perform a wide variety of missions. These aircraft have been appreciated by pilots and are now widely used in the special military operation. The State Corporation ensures fielding of the Su-34s to the fullest extent and in due time,” said Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of Rostec.

Su-34 frontline bombers form an important part of the Russian frontline air striking power. The aircraft’s capabilities allow to use advanced air-launched weapons, to increase the ground and surface attack range, and to improve bombing accuracy.

“We continue to keep our obligations to the Ministry of Defence by providing smooth production flow and prompt delivery of aircraft,” said Yury Slyusar, General Director of UAC. “Novosibirsk Factory is one of important contractors under the state defence procurement program within UAC. The company has already started working on the next year program whose volume will be increased considerably. A necessary production reserve has been provided. In addition, the factory is occupied with work on service and airworthiness maintenance of already fielded aircraft.”
