Shvabe has Supplied more than 1,700 Diffraction Gratings

In 2023, Scientific-Production Association State Institute of Applied Optics (NPO GIPO), Shvabe’s facility in Kazan, has delivered 1,750 optical products to domestic and foreign customers. The company’s diffraction gratings were used in laser systems and spectrometers for scientific research, medicine and industry.

Scientific-Production Association State Institute of Applied Optics (NPO GIPO) is the diffraction grating manufacturer. The products have been supplied to Moscow, Moscow Region, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Minsk and other cities in Russia and abroad. 

“Our diffraction gratings are traditionally popular not only on the Russian market, but also abroad. We keep in close touch with our long-standing partners and are building new contacts and expanding the supply network. The amount of sold products has grown compared with the previous year,” said Vladimir Ivanov, Interim General Director of NPO GIPO. 

Diffraction optics is used in various spectral instruments intended for scientific research and production needs. For example, in optical filters, spectrophotometers, spectrometers and equipment for environmental study of air, vegetation and soil quality.
