ORPE Technologiya named after A.G. Romashin will make payload fairings for five launch vehicles from the Angara family. Extra strong structures withstand extreme loads and protect the payload during atmospheric penetration. The payload fairing contains several components – shells. These are high-performance products consisting of two composite layers with an aluminium honeycomb core between them. As a result, the fairing withstands extreme loads during the flight to orbit. For example, temperatures higher than 700 degrees Celsius and rapid temperature drops. A set for the Angara-A5 version contains eight components, a set for the Angara-1.2 version contains six components.
