Rostec has Entered Into Agreements Totaling More Than 80 Billion Rubles at the SPIEF

Rostec State Corporation summed up the work at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which was held in the Northern Capital on June 6-8, 2019. Within the framework of SPIEF-2019, the State Corporation has concluded over 20 agreements aimed at the implementation of priority national projects. The total amount of agreements signed by Rostec exceeded 80 billion rubles.

Shvabe holding company of Rostec State Corporation signed an agreement in the field of healthcare with St. Petersburg on creation of a center for palliative medicine and of two new blocks of clinical oncologic dispensary. The volume of investment in creation of social infrastructure will amount to more than 15 billion rubles.

Rosselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation in conjunction with the Federal Government Budgetary Institution of National Medical Research Center for Radiology and the Czech company Proton Therapy Development sr.o. have agreed to establish a proton therapy center for the treatment of cancer in the Kaluga region. The project cost is 12 billion rubles. Roselectronika will also create a medical-pharmaceutical cluster in the Yaroslavl region, which will include the production of hemostatic absorbable materials based on Czech technologies and an enterprise for the production of medical injection needles. The total investment in the project will be more than 1 billion rubles.

Rostec also signed several agreements with Rosneft concerning the production of innovative material for oil production, creation of new modules for refueling vehicles based on the technology of liquefied natural gas and the use of Rostec drones for engineering surveys.

In addition, Rostec will build a plant for production of liquefied natural gas with a capacity of 120 thousand tons per year in the Tver region.

According to preliminary estimates, the implementation of the signed agreement will allow attracting up to 10 billion rubles of investments to the region.

Avtomatika Concern of Rostec State Corporation and Kryptonite LLC, which is a part of IKS Holding, have entered into an agreement on portioning of shares in a Kryptonite joint venture, a research and production company. Investments in creation of a new structure that will deal with the transfer of military information technologies to civilian sector will amount to 4 billion rubles.

The most large-scale credit agreement was the one of a Rostec’s subsidiary bank - Novikombank - with the United Engine Corporation (a part of the State Corporation) for a total amount of 35 billion rubles. Novikombank will open a credit line of 5 billion rubles to Helicopters of Russia.

Rostec also signed an agreement with PJSC Gazprom on cooperation in the development, production and supply of high-tech equipment at the SPIEF-2019 site.

Russian Railways, Rostec State Corporation and VEB.RF have signed a roadmap for import substitution of digital products in the railway industry.

According to the roadmap, high-tech products and solutions of radio-electronic cluster of Rostec State Corporation will be tried and tested at railway enterprises. The equipment, which has successfully passed the tests and trials, can later be purchased by the Russian Railways with the possible involvement of funding from the state-owned VEB.RF development corporation.

In addition, the State Corporation Rostec and the Government of the Samara Region approved a roadmap for interaction within the framework of the Scientific and Educational Center (SEC). The center will bring together leading universities of the region and industrial enterprises in a consortium for the development of scientific and technical projects and their introduction into production. Cooperation agreements with five more regions of Russia were also signed during the forum.
