Penza-based Radiozavod, Ruselectronics holding, has launched a new shop for commercial production of upgraded Bystritsa type large planters. Owing to modernization, the company’s farm machinery production capacity has doubled and the local content has achieved 85%.

Radiozavod’s modernization project included commercially available Bystritsa planters – a pneumatic seed hopper intended for loading seeds and fertilizers was designed using corrosion resistant materials.

In addition, the company has designed and proceeded to field testing of new types of trailed planters and planting systems. The new machines can fulfill several process operations in one pass enabling farmers to reduce costs and increase performance. The products feature high abrasion and spot corrosion resistance of the surface. Additional options are available to customize the machine according to a particular planting technique and agroclimatic conditions in the field.

“Radiozavod’s designers have developed new types of planting machines. Moreover, the project involved upgrading of the existing pneumatic planter family and start of commercial production The newly-launched shop will generally enable the company to enhance the existing market positions by increasing the share of civil products from 11% in 2021 to 20% in 2025,” said Oleg Ratnikov, General Director of Radiozavod.
