Rostec displays innovative solutions in India


International aerospace Aero India-2013 show will be held in Yelahanka airbase.

Russian exposition is generally organized by Rostec. The exhibition will display innovative solutions and products of Russian Helicopters, United Engine Corporation (UEC), Shvabe and Radioelectronic technologies.

Besides, Rosoboronexport is to exhibit the newest samples of Russian aviation equipment and airdefence systems including Yak-130 fighter trainer, Il-78MK-90 tanker aircraft, Il-76MD-90A  (Il-476) military transport aircraft, Be-200 multipurpose amphibious aircraft, Antey-2500, Tor-M2E and Buk-M2E air defense missile systems, Pantsir-S1 SA missile and other equipment of civil, military and dual purpose. Rosoboronexport will also show Mi-28NE strike helicopter jointly with Russian Helicopters.

Currently Russian Helicopters bid for an Indian procurement tender with Ka-226-T. The new helicopters will be displayed at Aero India-2013. Besides, the holding will demonstrate Mi-171A2 medium upgraded civil helicopter based on famous Mi-8/17.

UEC will also exhibit visitable goods as RD-33MK engine for MiG-29 fighter series, AL-55I made specially for India, PD-14 prospective engine designed for MS-21.

Aero India-2013 will also see modern infrared search and tracks for combat aircrafts and civil and military optical observation systems by Shvabe.

Russian participation in Indian exhibition will promote the future mutually beneficial cooperation of the countries.

Aleksandr Fomin from Federal military industrial cooperation service tells:

The Avionica aviation equipment concern (Radioelectronic technologies) representatives brought its solutions in airborne radio electronic equipment, such as flying data measuring systems, multifunctional LCD displays, laser inertial navigation system.

Negotiations on prospective lines of cooperation of Russia, India  and other Asian-Pacific countries will be held within the show. The parties are also to discuss the Su-30MKI upgrade programmes.
