Rostec’s Concern Uralvagonzavod delivered another batches of the T-72B3M and T-90M Proryv tanks to the Russian Army on the eve of the Victory Day. A famous tank of Victory, T-34-85, came to the dispatch point to see its descendants.

About 200 various modifications have been made in the design of Uralvagonzavod’s fighting vehicles over three years to improve their power, protection and mobility. Therefore, the T-72B3M and T-90M tanks from new batches are much different from those that had been supplied to the Russian Army before the start of the special military operation. Electronic warfare systems for drone suppression are installed on the armored vehicles. All vehicles are equipped with nets against FPV drones and rubber-reinforced protection installed on the turret bustle and engine transmission compartment.

As during the Great Patriotic War, when designers and engineers did their best to improve the T-34, today Uralvagonzavod team continues improving the armored vehicles taking into account the feedback from tank crews. Specialists constantly keep in touch with tank units. UVZ engineers, in particular, work on continuous development of protection, both passive and active, and on the improvement of fighting vehicle performance.

Uralvagonzavod’s maintenance crews make a major contribution to the creation of upgraded fighting vehicles by restoring equipment in the immediate vicinity of the frontline.
