Ruselectronics holding has developed a new generation of the SERP-VS6D automated electronic countermeasures system. The equipment combines an EW suite and high precision detector that is used, in particular, to locate FPV drones. During testing, the new SERP has proved highly effective both against single UAV and group drone attacks.

The new SERP-VS6D uses the maximum number of frequencies among all SERP systems developed by Vector Research Institute included in Ruselectronics holding. It ensures effective drone suppression via six various communication channels. The high precision detector and instantaneous digital signal processing algorithms are used to detect and identify UAV within the protected area, minimize target acquisition failures and false responses.

The equipment is capable of continuous tracking drone communication and control channels within 360° horizontally. In case when a drone is detected, the device actuates, automatically or manually, assured radio signal suppression of radio signals sent from targets at a distance up to 5 km. During actuation, radio signals are suppressed in all available ranges — at all other times the suppression function is switched off. Such mode fully meets the requirements of the State Radio Frequency Commission regarding the ban on the constant use of jammers.

At this point the SERP systems are already used by Russian companies, including military industrial facilities. The products may be used both on stationary and mobile objects.
