The crawler-mounted vehicle equipped with a weapon station with antitank missile system has been created with the involvement of Rostec State Corporation, the vehicle is currently undergoing field testing.

“The Impuls-M, an advanced multi-purpose robot, has been created together with Rostec State Corporation. A universal multi-purpose battlefield missile version of the robot equipped with a weapon station with antitank missile system is currently being tested in field conditions,” said Aleksandr Gavrilov, General Director of Gumich, the IT development company.

The advanced vehicle has good prospects for civilian applications due to its modular design and fast convertibility for various payloads. The robot software is used to perform the widest range of tasks.

The robotic system has a crawler base with a capacity of about 1 t that is able to carry 500 kg of load uphill at 30 degrees and tow a load of 1.5 t. The vehicle is multi-purpose and may be used for a wide set of weapon stations, for mining, and for transportation of cargo and the wounded. A fully Russian-made control system with artificial intelligence components that enables the robotic system to act automatically when performing both combat and logistic missions is one of its advantages.

A small-scale prototype of the system has been successfully tested in combat before. A functional full-scale combat platform has been created using this prototype and all data acquired in combat conditions.
