Rosel holding has successfully completed testing the Ametist-IK infrared optical filters. They may be used in objectives for industrial, medical and research applications, retain their properties during up to 15 years even in extreme temperatures and high humidity. Domestically produced components will replace similar products made by foreign manufacturers.
The Ametist-IK filters may be used in numerous infrared optoelectronic devices. They include sensors, cameras and scanning systems. The products are suitable for research, medicine, industrial automation, optical control systems, instruments and analytical equipment. They provide images in the range from 2µm to 20µm.
“Our filters are on the level with leading equivalent foreign products: Spectrogon, Andover, Edmund Optics, NOС. The products are wearproof, their service life is about 15 years. Moreover, environmental factors such as extreme temperatures and high humidity don’t affect the filters. The application range is very wide, we can manufacture components for any objective. Within nine months of 2025, the number of contracts for these products has grown by 80%,” said Fedor Denisenko, General Director of Giricond Research Institute.
Giricond Research Institute is focused on development and manufacturing of electronic components, sensors and general-purpose devices. The company also makes unique products for specific and extreme operating conditions (for microwave range, operation at high temperature, mechanical loads, etc.)
