Rostec’s Rosel holding has developed a new quartz resonator line. They are distinguished by an extended frequency band and miniature sizes of about a match head. The products are in demand in Russian auto electronics and civil communications equipment.

The quartz resonator is the key component of high-stable radio frequency modes. Its main purpose is to work with frequency generators in electronic circuits. These products are essential where accuracy is the target: they ensure signal stability in radio transmitters, operation synchronization in microcontrollers, and motion of hands and time count in watches.

Omsk Scientific-Research Institute of Instrument Engineering (included in Rosel) team were the first in Russia who managed to create resonators for frequencies up to 200 MHz in miniature housings with dimensions of 2.0×1.6 mm and up to 300 MHz in housings with dimensions of 3.2×2.5 mm. Despite such small dimensions, the resonators have a wide operating temperature range from −60 °С to 125 °С and the highest tuning accuracy.

Now preliminary testing has been completed successfully, manufacturing of a development batch is underway. The products will help substitute foreign components.
