High-Precision Systems as part of Rostec State has shipped a new batch of the Depesha multifunctional wheel-mounted robotic platforms to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. The system can be used to carry goods and evacuate people. Work on expanding the system functionality is currently underway.
The Depesha features flexibility. The vehicles may be adapted for various tasks through installation of various modules. The wheel-mounted Depesha can carry goods up to 200 kg, including food, fuel and equipment, and evacuate wounded soldiers from the front line.
“The robotic systems have acquired a special significance in the battle field because they may be used to meet complex challenges without direct human involvement. A number of the Depesha multifunctional platform versions currently undergo comprehensive tests in the special military operation zone,” said Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Weapons Cluster of Rostec State Corporation.
The Depesha is made of light-weight and durable materials, and has an independent suspension system to offer high maneuverability and mobility. Due to compact dimensions, the system may be transported in an off-road vehicle or pickup truck boot.
The platform’s robotic components are operated by the Prometey hardware and software package. The Depesha may be operated from remote control, and a fiber-optic link may be used to provide stable communications.
