AMTO-01 diathera magnetotherapy ophthalmic devices for treatment of various eye diseases

The magnetotherapy ophthalmic device consists of two parts: a control unit that generates pulses of a particular frequency and shape, and an inductor unit that serves as a magnetic field source.

Physiotherapeutic effect is ensured by two different magnetic field waveforms: Sinusoidal and rectangular that are appropriately designated on the control unit. Three pairs of inductors act on eye ball to improve local microcirculation and metabolic processes in the temporal region, facilitate local blood supply and stimulate tear production, and on optic tracts to facilitate nervous impulses and make a positive impact on functional state of the visual center nerve tissue.

The list of indications for use of the diathera is impressive and includes myopia, hyperopia, currently widespread asthenopia, or computer vision syndrome prevention. The unit may be also used in treatment of other serious diseases: primary open angle glaucoma, bacterial and herpetic keratitis, optic nerve atrophy, retina macular degeneration, inflammatory eye conditions, including blepharitis.

Two versions of the unit are available: for professional use in physiotherapeutic rooms and a more space-saving version for domestic use.
