Commerce and marketing research department
The department was founded in 1997 after marketing and management department reorganization.
Head of the department: Natalia Golovanova, Doctor of Economics, dean of the Faculty of Economics.
The department trains management, economics, marketing and commerce specialists.
Among the graduates' basic skills are
- business-processes analysis and forecasting, evaluation of their efficiency;
- provision of the enterprises' material and technical supply;
- enterprises' business units management and organization;
- development of innovation methods and technologies in the professional activity.
Among the higher-education teaching personnel are Ph.D. and Doctors of Economics, Russian Academy of Natural Sciences academicians and teachers with large practical experience.
The department gives its students the opportunity of practical training involving visiting enterprises and masterclasses.
