KAMAZ Selected a Distributor in the Republic of South Africa

KAMAZ issued a distributor certificate to a South African machine building company Bell Equipment possessing the largest dealership network in the region.

Last week, as part of the International Commercial Vehicle Auto Show Comtrans 2017 the General Director of JSC KAMAZ Foreign Trade Company and Export Director of PJSC KAMAZ Rafail Gafeev handed over the certificate to the General Director of Bell Equipment Gary Bell.

As was noted by the media office of the car building company, for KAMAZ this means an entry to the largest markets of the African continent – the Republic of South Africa and the neighbouring countries. Until the end of 2017 the right-hand-drive models of the following prototypes are expected to be built and supplied to that region: KAMAZ-6520, KAMAZ-65201, KAMAZ-65222 and re-styled KAMAZ-65115 "Euro-3". Over time, it is expected to arrange assembly of KAMAZ trucks in cooperation with the South African company.

It should be recalled that KAMAZ has been exporting vehicles to more than 40 countries of CIS, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America. The company has assembly facilities in Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, India. The trucks are assembled using the parts supplied by KAMAZ. KAMAZ vehicles ("Euro-5") are also assembled in Europe by the assembly facility of Autobagi company (Lithuania).
