United Aircraft Corporation (included in Rostec State Corporation) has delivered a batch of the new Su-57 multi-role fighters to the Russian Air Force.
The aircraft underwent a full factory test cycle, were tested in various operating conditions by pilots from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and flew to their home airfield.
The Su-57 multifrole frontline aircraft is designed to fulfill a wide range of missions. It is capable of engaging air, ground and sea targets. The aircraft can be used on a 24/7 basis, in particular in adverse weather conditions and jamming environment.
The fighters currently leaving the factory shops differ from those fabricated at the beginning of the special operation. The Su-57 has gone through tremendous evolution during this period. The fighter evolves and is modernized, in particular, considering the wide combat experience.
“The Su-57 fifth generation advanced aircraft system is the best-in-class aircraft. Strict adherence to purchase orders for these and other tactical airplanes within the state defense procurement program is our primary objective. Our specialists in cooperation with other Rostec’s companies continuously improve manufacturing processes to ensure necessary aircraft production rates,” said Vadim Badekha, General Director of UAC.
