Rostec State Corporation will carry out the first public presentation of the Dan-T loitering munition at El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt. The product is designed to be launched from carrier aircraft. High efficiency of the promising drone has been already proved in combat.
The loitering munition is equipped with a small jet engine and is able to reach targets at a distance of hundreds of kilometers. The drone has a high cruise speed. A flight mode is provided for the munition to hide from air defense systems.
“Rostec is consistently developing unmanned technology that are widely used in present-day military operations. Rostec’s companies are currently developing and producing dozens of types of unmanned aerial vehicles, both reconnaissance and attack ones. The majority of our mass-produced products are successfully used in real conditions. The advanced Dan-T loitering munition has undergone a set of tests as an air-launched weapon. High efficiency of the drone has been confirmed by hundreds of successful launches to hit enemy objects in the special military operation zone. The product is designed to be launched from airplanes and helicopters, including foreign ones, therefore, we expect a wide interest of foreign customers in this munition,” said Rostec’s representatives.
The munition is classified as a fire-and-forget weapon — it flies to the target completely on its own after release from the carrier.
El Alamein International Airshow 2026 takes place on 8-10 September 2026 at El Alamein International Airport in Egypt. Russian exposition was organized by Rosoboronexport, a special export company (included in Rostec).
