Rostec State Corporation showcases more than 1100 pieces of weapons, military, civil and special equipment at the “ARMY 2020” Forum. About 70 of them will be shown for the first time. Armours, infantry combat vehicles, aviation materiel, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), artillery systems and ammunition, advanced small arms, communication equipment, ERB platforms and a number of civil developments will be presented in the exposition halls and at the open-air exhibition stands.
All the key holding companies that make up State Corporation Rostec are present at the Forum. Among mentioned participants are United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Russian Helicopters, NPO High-precision systems, Uralvagonzavod, Techmash, the Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering (TsNIItochmash), United Engine Corporation (UEC), JSC Concern Radio-Electronic Technologies, Technodinamika, Roselectronika, Shvabe, Avtomatika Concern, Speсhimia, Nacimbio.
The exhibits will be accessible to the visitors in the permanent showroom of the Rostec state Corporation, namely in the pavilions of the Patriot congress and exhibition center and at the open-air exhibition stands. The total area of holdings' expositions exceeds 16 sq. m.
Among the new products presented at the Rostec’s exhibition are modernized combat helicopter Mi-35P, helicopter Mi-171SH (export version of troop-carrying helicopter Mi-8AMTSH) and export version of the latest Su-57E fifth-generation fighter.
Also, other military products are being exhibited. Visitors and participants of the forum will have an opportunity to see “Hermes”, the vehicle with high - precision guided weapon system and a shooting range of up to 100 km, “Tornado-S”, the new type of guided projectile for multiple-launch rocket systems supervisory surveillance, as well as sighting system “Parallax for BMP-3”, which operates on the “transparent armor” principle, the newest pistols “Aspid” and “Poloz”, mobile version of countermeasures system to unmanned aerial vehicles “Ataka-DBS” and many others.
Representatives of the State Corporation and its holding companies will hold negotiations with potential partners and partake in the business program activities.
“International Military-Technical Forum ARMY-2020 is one of the world’s largest exhibition platforms, where the most advanced samples of Russian weapons, military and special equipment are traditionally presented and the issues of strengthening international military-technical cooperation are discussed. The interest in the event isn’t declining despite the restrictions related to pandemic: this year delegations from over 60 countries take part in “ARMY”. We suggest record-breaking exposition to the partners - more than 1,100 samples of our products, including about 70 innovations, that haven’t been demonstrated yet. For the partners who hadn’t been able to attend the “ARMY” we prepared the plan for remote presentations, including video conferencing and online events” – pointed out Sergey Chemezov, Director General of the Rostec State Corporation.
Rostec also presents an extensive catalogue of civilian products. In particular, enterprises of the Corporation demonstrate a wide range of inventions for preventing the spread of COVID-19: AVL apparatus, automated (потоковые?) thermal imaging devices, access systems capable of measuring the temperature, equipment for detection of COVID-19 in the air, tools for disinfection of premises and etc. Some samples of such an equipment will be used for ensuring the safety of the guests and forum participants.
As previously reported, corporate strategic target of Rostec lies in achieving a parity among military and civilian goods by 2025 to improve sustainability of business and to address specific tasks of the State under the national projects “Digital economy”, “Health care", “Education”, “Housing and Urban Environment”, “Science”, “Ecology” and others.
The International Military-Technical Forum ARMY 2020 will take place on August 23–29 at the Patriot congress and exhibition center of the Russian armed forces, Alabino Military Training Ground and Kubinka Aerodrome.
