UOMZ Ships Incubators to Lebanon

Urals Optics and Mechanical Plant expands its international presence

Yekaterinburg, January 25, 2013
Press release

The Urals Optics and Mechanical Plant (UOMZ), part of the Schwabe Holding Company, is actively expanding its international presence. The company delivered its neonatal incubators to Lebanon in January 2013.

UOMZ delivered to Beirut IDN-02 and IDN-03 incubators for newborn babies in early 2013 under a contract worth more than RUB 500,000. The Russian-made equipment will be installed in a Lebanese capital hospital in February.

For the Rostec-controlled company, this would translate into stronger positions on the international market and expanded geography of exports. Lebanon is number 78 on the list of countries purchasing UOMZ products.

Lebanon, just like other Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian countries, is a promising market for the Russian manufacturer’s medical equipment, UOMZ export specialists believe.
