“Kvant” scientific and production corporation from Novgorod, a part of “KRET” (“Radioelectronic technologies”) concern celebrates its 55th anniversary. The company is the leader in the field of military radioelectronic technologies and air-defense systems. The list of unique “Kvant” developments unparalleled anywhere in the world includes intelligence stations and mobile anti-radar systems.

In 2009 “Kvant” was merged with KRET. Due to the concern the corporation has turned to a reform of its structure and retooling and modernization by using internal funds and state investment, “Upon merger of the scientific and production corporation (NPO) with KRET the  system of management, distribution of orders and cooperation of production appeared, - Gennady Kapralov, the Director General of “Kvant” NPO tells. It allowed us to increase production volume almost by 200% in 2012. These days “Kvant” is a leading manufacturer in the field of production of electronic countermeasure devices. 

Within 5 recent years the plant has speeded up development and production of state-of-the-art electronic warfare. One of them is an unparalleled “Krasukha 2.0” mobile system for detection and airborne station and  aircraft jamming. Complete installation of the systems takes no more than 10 minutes, with a crew of three men.

Within 1.5 years the manufacturing production of this sophisticated technology was set up. In addition, the corporation manufactures “Avtobaza” ground electronic intelligence system, SPN-2 and SPN-40 a high-power noise jammer and an active jammer.

“Kvant” has got the license to conduct independent military-technical cooperation. Within the framework of the cooperation the scientific and production corporation has concluded contracts with 40 countries for supply of spare parts, equipment maintenance, equipment upgrade and personnel training.

“Kvant” scientific and production corporation (NPO “Kvant”) is a leading Russian manufacturer of the mobile systems of electronic intelligence and anti-radar systems. The company was set up in 1958. In 2009 “Kvant” was merged  with KRET. It is registered with the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation. During 55 years the plant has manufactured 26 types of military technology. The customers for the NPO “Kvant” products are more than 40 countries. 

KRET concern is the major Russian center of instrument engineering for military-industrial complex and non-defense industries. It was set up in 2009. It is a part of Rostec State Corporation. It is involved in design and production of 
electronic warfare (EW), avionics (airborne electronic systems), state identification (SI), measuring instrumentation (MI) of various applications, electric connectors and cabling systems, various household appliances and medical devices. The Concern incorporates 97 organizations in 28 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The total stuffing is more than 60 thousand of people. The products of the holding are supplied to 60 countries.
