Obninsk enterprise produced 20 thousand substrates for integrated circuits in 2020

Obninsk Research and Production Enterprise "Technologiya" named after A. G. Romashin increased its production of sitall substrates for integrated film circuits of radio electronic equipment in 2020. The enterprise produced 20 thousand units, which is twice as much as in 2019. In 2021, Technologiya plans to again double the supply of sitall substrates as contracts have already been signed for the manufacture of 40 thousand products for Russian manufacturers.

Sitall substrates are used in the manufacture of film microcircuits and electronic equipment. Microcircuit tracks are etched on substrates, therefore their quality directly affects products’ service life. The products created at ORPE Technologiya have a high degree of work surface cleanliness (Rz-0.024), which is 25% higher than the standard characteristics, including those of foreign analogues. Almost a third of the 64x64 mm products supplied to customers were made taking into account additional requirements, including improved characteristics of the 35x35 mm working area.

“The enterprise is able to fully cover the demand of the domestic radio-electronic industry for sitall substrates. The growth of orders, among other positive trends, ensures the high quality of products”, noted Andrey Silkin, General Director of ORPE Technologiya.

Serial production of sitall substrates began at the enterprise in 2018. Previously these products, which are necessary for radio-electronic, aviation, shipbuilding and military-industrial enterprises, were supplied from abroad. The production facilities of ORPE Technologiya make it possible to produce 100 thousand glass substrates per year.
