Rostec State Corporation traditionally supports Spasskaya Tower, an international military music festival, that will be held in Red Square between August 22 and August 31. During ten evenings, visitors will enjoy a spectacular show, including performances of the best Russian and foreign military bands and creative groups. This year the festival is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and to defenders of the fatherland.

“Spasskaya Tower is one of Moscow’s biggest cultural projects that encompasses the best Russian and foreign military bands, honor guards of heads of state and authentic folk groups. In this trying time, the festival makes an invaluable contribution to promoting patriotism and cultural diplomacy, facilitates friendly relations and better understanding between countries and nations,” said Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rosteс State Corporation.

At the festival, the Russian Federation is represented by the best bands of law enforcement agencies: Ministry of Defence, EMERCOM, Federal Security Service, Federal Protective Service and Russian national guard. Groups from foreign countries such as Burkina Faso, Italy, Mongolia, United Arab Emirates, Republic of Belarus, Zimbabwe, Kazakhstan, Republic of Srpska (as part of Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Ethiopia will also demonstrate their skills.

The Spasskaya Tower festival has been held since 2007. More than 200 bands from 59 countries have participated in the festival and more than 900,000 people have visited the performances in Red Square during this time.
