Russia has opened its pavilion doors at Expo 2020 in Dubai, which is considered the largest exhibition in history and will be running until March 31, 2022. The main theme of the exhibition is “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. The Russian pavilion will be the largest zone at the exhibition complex and its main theme is “Creative Mind: Driving the Future”.
National Exhibition Operator ANO of Rostec will represent the Russian Federation and State Corporation Rostec is an official partner of the event. Different regions such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Komi Republic will be represented in the Russian pavilion. Visitors will not only get acquainted with the scientific and cultural achievements of past eras, but also learn how the creative mind can shape the future for the benefit of humankind.
Inside the exposition is dedicated to Russia's participation in Expo 2020 and named “The Mechanics of a Miracle”. Here, visitors will learn about the structure and principles of brain activity and the emergence of human consciousness. The exhibition center hosts a multimedia show with a huge kinetic sculpture of the brain which is accompanied by projector imaging technologies.
The business program of the Russian pavilion will focus topics such as urbanism, space, education, culture, contemporary art, tourism, science, transport and logistics, the fashion industry as well as medicine.
A particular highlight will be “The Russia Forum: Driving the Future”, which will be held on 3–4 December to celebrate Russia Day at Expo 2020. Representatives of leading Russian and international companies will take part in this event.
