Ruselectronics holding has developed adhesive, which is unparalleled in Russia, for microassemblies and complex electronic units. It has high electrical and thermal conductivity and will make it possible to stop purchasing Japanese materials.

Conductive adhesives are used to make tight electrical contacts in complex structures and microassemblies, and for mounting ICs for electronic equipment. In contrast to welding or soldering, such adhesives do not need high temperatures for curing and, thus, the strain and dimensional stability of ICs can be maintained.

The compound developed by Central Design Bureau of Radio Materials retains its properties at ambient temperatures from –60°C to 175 °C and 100% humidity and is capable of withstanding at least 2,000 operating hours at the maximum allowable temperature. The adhesive has high electrical conductivity, max. 0.00005 Ω/cm, and a density of at least 5 g/cm3. This allows the adhesive to be used for chip bonding and for mounting semiconductor devices.
