Rostec will Open a High-Tech Prosthetic Center in the White Sea Area

Rostec’s High-Tech Prosthetic Center will appear in the Arkhangelsk Region. The Center will provide rehabilitation to SMO veterans from the White Sea area and other regions of the Northwestern Federal District. The Center will be established on the basis of the Arkhangelsk War Veterans Hospital and will offer services up to three thousand soldiers annually. 

The Center will manufacture high-tech prostheses for soldiers, offer rehabilitation and help patients learn to use prosthetic limbs. Primary and secondary prosthetic services will be provided to SMO veterans biennially. The medical facility will also carry out maintenance and repair of the supplied products. The Prosthetic Center is to be opened in the third quarter of 2025. 

CITO’s rehabilitation system includes diagnostics, pre-prosthetic physiotherapy and therapeutic exercises, manufacturing of customized high-functional prostheses, including microprocessor ones. 

Rostec State Corporation together with the Defenders of the Fatherland National Foundation with support from regions are establishing High-Tech Prosthetic Centers in Russian cities. The medical facilities have been already opened in Belgorod, Izhevsk and Kurgan. Opening of a Center in Saint Petersburg is planned for April. Besides Arkhangelsk, construction of such facilities will start in Kemerovo and Omsk this year. A total of 25 Centers will be opened all over the country by the end of 2027.
